Here at Wolff’s, our slogan is “Always in Season, Since 1910.” We’re proud to have been serving our community these past 110 years, and 2020 was no exception. We’ve been there for our community as people have been looking for safer ways to buy fresh foods. It is our honor to serve you by providing fresh, local produce, healthy prepared foods, sustainably raised meat and dairy items, grocery and so much more. We welcomed many new and returning customers to our spacious outdoor garden center, as many more people started gardening this year.

This year we’ve seen many new faces shopping at our market, and one question we hear a lot is if we’re open in the winter. The answer is YES! We are open YEAR-ROUND! We are open on Christmas Eve from 9-1 and closed Christmas Day. Then on New Year’s Eve, we’re open our normal hours – 9-5. We close New Year’s Day but then re-open on January 2nd. We’ll continue to be open all winter long.

So, what can you expect at Wolff’s Apple House throughout the seasons?

Locally grown apples

All throughout the fall, you’ll find many unique varieties of locally grown apples, freshly pressed apple cider, pumpkins, mums and fall décor, delicious baked goods and more! Don’t forget about fall veggies like broccoli, cauliflower and winter squash!

During the holidays, order locally raised turkeys and freshly baked pies, breads, rolls and more! Shop for Christmas trees and wreaths and enjoy hot mulled apple cider from Black Friday through Christmas Eve.

In the winter, try our homemade soups & prepared foods, hot soups to go and fresh local bakery items, for instance from My House Cookies and the Media Bakers Guild. Plus we have local dairy, eggs, and meat, and even locally grown produce all through the winter including lettuce, carrots, greens, winter squash, sweet potatoes, mushrooms and more.

Spring flowers like pansies, primroses and Easter flowers begin arriving by early March and then additional plants begin filling our garden center all throughout the season. Gardeners love our selection of herbs and vegetable plants, including more than 100 varieties of tomato plants and over 80 varieties of pepper plants!

Display of peaches

Summer is all about locally grown produce! Our biggest sellers are corn, peaches and tomatoes, but locally grown berries, vegetables and other stone fruits also fill our shelves.

Throughout every season, we offer produce, dairy, frozen meats, baked goods, prepared foods and grocery items. We hope to serve you in every season to come!
