These sandwiches are great! They are standard deli fare. I thought, why not make them at home. Try to get a thick Russian dressing, the thicker the better. And a good brand of both sauerkraut and rye bread are necessary too. But they are so easy to make and so easy to enjoy.

- Thickly Sliced Corned Beef
- Rye Bread Slices
- 1 Bottle Russian Dressing (the Thicker the Better)
- Swiss Cheese, Thinly Sliced
- Sauerkraut
- Softened Butter
Instructions
- Loosely pile corned beef high onto a slice of rye bread
- Pour on an ample amount of dressing
- Cover with slices of Swiss cheese
- Top with sauerkraut and more dressing
- Put on another slice of bread
- Slather both pieces of bread (outside) with softened butter
- Preheat a sauté pan
- Place 1 or more sandwiches into a preheated sauté pan, cover and cook for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown and crispy
- Flip the sandwich and cover, cooking again until golden brown and crispy and the cheese has melted
- Serve hot
