Our guacamole fresca is a chunky guac that uses tons of fresh ingredients. If you’re short on time, you can opt for our regular guacamole recipe. You can make it in the food processor. It’s also great if you don’t have a jalapeño handy!

Guacamole Fresca

Ingredients

  • 4 ripe avocados
  • ½ sweet onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ Jalapeno Pepper (seeded & minced)
  • Juice of 1 fresh lime (about 2 tbsp.)
  • 1 tbsp. chopped cilantro
  • ¼ tsp. cumin
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 large tomato (diced)

Instructions

  1. Put avocado in a bowl and mash (potato masher works best)
  2. Add all ingredients (except tomato) and mix well until completely incorporated. (Many of these ingredients can be adjusted to taste (salt, cumin, jalapeno, cilantro) but this recipe makes a great, balanced dip that a big group can enjoy!)
  3. Add tomato & gently fold in.
  4. Refrigerate for 1 hour & then serve with tortilla chips.

  • 1 tsp. salt
  • ¼ tsp. cayenne pepper
  • Juice of 1 fresh lime (about 2 tbsp.)
  • ½ tsp. chili powder
  • ¼ tsp. cumin
  • ¼ cup chopped cilantro
  • 1 large diced tomato

Instructions

  1. First add all ingredients except the tomato to a food processor and blend on high until smooth and creamy.Next transfer everything to a bowl and add the tomato, then stir to combine.
  2. For a chunky version, mash the avocado and finely chop the other solid ingredients (onion, garlic, cilantro).
