Apples are the perfect afternoon snack, especially when you can add a tasty Apple Cinnamon Fruit Dip to go with it. Currently, two very popular varieties of apple we are selling include Evercrisp apples and Pink Lady apples.
Evercrisp are a cross between Honeycrisp and Fuji apples. They are sweet, crunchy, crisp and juicy. Currently we are getting these from just a short drive over to New York state.
Pink Lady apples are coming from Weaver’s Orchard and are an excellent late-season apple. They ripen in late October and November, so they last well into the next fall. They are very firm, crisp and sweet-tart.
Both Evercrisp and Pink Lady apples are pictured below. Can you tell which one is which?
The Apple Cinnamon Fruit Dip recipe calls for cream cheese, applesauce, brown sugar and spices. Depending on your preference for sweetness, you can omit the sugar or use maple syrup instead. This recipe is kid-approved too! Try this fruit dip for a healthy after-school snack or healthy work-from-home snack.
